Contemporary Design out of West Newton, PA has teamed up with the Super Steelers to build a larger than life tribute to the 2008 Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

The company is hard at work building a replica of the 2008 Lombardi trophy that stands nearly 26 feet tall.

"It's a lot of hard work from the team (of craftsmen)," said Chris Suchko of Contemporary Design. "It takes about a thousand man hours. Everything is custom built."

Contemporary Design has already constructed other projects that hover above in the Coca-Cola Great Hall. One is what appears to be a helmet crashing through the ceiling, and another is a 30-foot-wide Steelers logo that creates a ceiling canopy.

Construction of the trophy is in the final stages of completion.

The trophy will be installed in the Great Hall in Heinz Field in mid-July.
