Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is set to appear on the cover of the December/January issue of Men's Fitness magazine.

In the magazine, Roethlisberger talks about hitting the weights in high school and staying healthy while playing for the Super Bowl champion Steelers.

"Some guys in this league want to be the strongest quarterback," Roethlisberger said in the issue. "For me, it's not about that. It's about performance on the field and getting your body healthy to the point that it can withstand hits. In high school and college, it was all about weights: bench press, squats, cleats and just lift lift and lift to get big and strong. Once I got to the league, I realized it's about staying flexible and keeping the muscles long rather than big and bulky."

Roethlisberger also talks about his goal to win more Super Bowl rings than former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw.

"There's a quarterback who played here before me [Terry Bradshaw] who has four Super Bowls. The goal is to get one more than him," Big Ben said in the interview.

The issue is set to hit newsstands on Nov. 23.
