PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Pirates were shut out by the Milwaukee Brewers 1-0 Saturday night at PNC Park.
John Vander Wal's hit a double in the fourth that scored the only run in the game.
Ben Sheets pitched seven shutout innings, giving up seven singles and allowing the Pirates to put more than one runner on base in an inning only once.
The Bucs face the Brewers again Sunday for the last game of the four-game series. Game time is 1:35 p.m.
