Cope's Condition Not Believed To Be Serious

From Super Bowls to this year's super season, he's been there.

Monday night, Steelers nation expressed its concerns for the voice of the Steelers, Myron Cope.

Cope is a living legend in Pittsburgh. He's as much a part of the Steelers history as Mean Joe Green and Chuck Noll, and so his health has been on the minds of Steelers fans everywhere.

When the Steelers took on Philadelphia Sunday at Heinz Field, Myron showed up to work the game as he's done for the last 35 years. But, he was suffering from a head injury from a Saturday fall at his home.

Cope was taken to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital at halftime during Sunday's Steelers game.

He became light-headed while working in the booth at Heinz Field.

The good news is, he said he's feeling fine and expects to be released from the hospital Tuesday. He also said all of the tests administered to him showed no damage.

Steelers' fans feel a special bond with Cope, so the news that he's going to be alright is as good as a Steelers' win.
