The logo for the 2006 Major League Baseball All-Star Game was unveiled Tuesday.

The logo was designed by renowned local artist Burton Morris in conjunction with MLB and shows a view of the Pittsburgh skyline from PNC Park.

The logo also includes the Allegheny River and the Roberto Clemente Bridge.

The U.S. Steel Building, Pittsburgh's tallest skyscraper, sits just above the logo's outline.

Pirates CEO and managing general partner Kevin McClatchy was joined by Major League Baseball President and COO Bob DuPuy, Pittsburgh Mayor Tom Murphy and Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato for the unveiling ceremony that took place Tuesday night during the Pirates game against the San Diego Padres.

The all-star game will be held at PNC Park next year.
