PITTSBURGH — From Heinz Field to Heinz Hall, one Pittsburgh Steeler is sharing his second love.
It's a side of Arthur Moats you don't usually see.
He has a great appreciation for the arts. He loves orchestra, ballet and music.
Moats has found a way to sway seamlessly between the rough and tough world of football and the serenity of the smooth sounds of the piano.

"If you know me, two things you're going to say: he loves football and he loves his music," Moats said. "It's my yin and yang, you know; as you said, I feel like with football I'm extremely passionate about it. But with the keyboard or the piano right here, gives me that other release, that emotional side when you can open up and express yourself through the music."
Moats started experimenting with the piano while in college.
But he grew up playing drums in church because both of his parents are pastors.

"Do you think music brings you closer to God?" Channel 11's Alby Oxenreiter asked.
"It's one of those ways that I'm able to express the gifts that He's given me, and go out there and show it even more," Moats said. "I feel like that's one of the beautiful things about life in general when you have certain talent, certain gifts, when you're given a platform to express that."
Moats told Channel 11 his wife and kids love to hear him play the piano, but the finished product only comes after hours of practice, usually late at night when he plays in solitude, except for the critical ear of his dog, Biggie.
