Steelers' Antonio Brown makes $100k donation to Children's Hospital

PITTSBURGH — The saying, “It’s better to give than to receive” gets used a lot this time of year. Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown is definitely in a giving mood.

On Friday, Brown delivered a check for $100,000 to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Business is "boomin'" for AB, and he’s sharing some of that success with children who need it most.

According to ESPN, Brown told reporters, "I usually take [my kids] to the children's hospital to show them how blessed they are and to let them know not everyone is as fortunate. ... Spreading my love and extending my hand is what life's all about."

Brown and the Steelers play the Ravens on Christmas Day. The game will be broadcast on Channel 11. Black and Gold Zone coverage begins at 2:30 p.m.
