Sidney Crosby added another piece of hardware for his massive trophy case on Wednesday night.
The Penguins superstar won the best NHL player ESPY during ESPN’s annual awards show, held in Los Angeles. It is his eighth ESPY since 2007.

Other nominees included Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, Patrick Kane and Sergei Bobrovsky.
Crosby was nominated for best male athlete but lost to NBA MVP Russell Westbrook. He didn't attend the ceremony - he's currently running his annual hockey school in his hometown of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
