Tuesday, the Penguins added another former champion player to their assistant coaching ranks.
Sergei Gonchar, 43, a high-scoring defenseman who won the 2009 Stanley Cup with the Pens as an alternate captain, has served as the team’s defensive development coach for the past two seasons.
