PITTSBURGH — Two of the NHL’s top teams from the regular season are set to meet in the second round of the NHL playoffs for the second-straight year.
Game one for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals is scheduled for Thursday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
The game will be nationally broadcast on NBC Sports Network.
Game two is Saturday, April 29 at 8 p.m. at the Verizon center. That game will air on NBC.

The Penguins get back on home ice for game three on Monday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. when the contest heads to PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.
That game will air on NBC Sports Network.
Game four at PPG Paints Arena will be Wednesday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m., also airing on NBC Sports Network.
If necessary, game five will be held at the Verizon Center, game 6 at PPG Paints and game 7 back at the Verizon Center.
All times for those games are to be determined.
