PITTSBURGH — When you take on one Pittsburgh sports team, you take on all of them! The pride was on full display during last night’s Penguins playoff game at Consol Energy Center.
Pirates’ pitcher Gerrit Cole had a front row seat as he cheered on the Pens. That seat just happened to be right next to the Capitals’ bench.
Cole, who was wearing a Sidney Crosby jersey, was seen taunting the Caps through the glass before the game even began and booing them after at least one Penguins goal.
What? You thought #BurghProud was just a Twitter thing?

He also appeared on the jumbotron leading a “Let’s Go Pens!” chant.

An usher later told Cole to tone it down.
The Penguins defeated the Capitals, 3-2, in overtime.
Cole wasn’t the only member of another Pittsburgh team to show his support.
Former Pittsburgh Steeler Brett Kiesel was cheering on the Pens too.
Looks like he's had some practice with that towel. Wouldn't you say, @penguins? #BurghProud pic.twitter.com/AJS9gD0siy
