Schedule released for Pittsburgh Penguins' 2nd-round playoff series

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals, who had two of the NHL’s top four regular-season records, will play Game 1 of their best-of-seven second-round playoff series Thursday, starting at 8 p.m. at the Verizon Center.

NBC Sports Network will carry Game 1.

Game 2 is slated for Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Verizon Center. It will be broadcast on NBC.

CONSOL Energy Center will host Game 3 of the series next Monday at 8 p.m. The game will be televised on NBC Sports Network.

Game 4 at CONSOL Energy Center will be next Wednesday at 8 p.m. It will also be shown on NBC Sports Network.

  • GAME 2: Saturday, April 30 – 8 p.m. – Verizon Center
  • GAME 3: Monday, May 2 – 8 p.m. – CONSOL Energy Center
