Sharks forward admits he cheats day after calling Crosby a cheater

PITTSBURGH — San Jose Sharks center Logan Couture admitted to being a cheater the day after calling Penguins’ Sidney Crosby a cheater.

The Penguins won a dramatic Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals in overtime Wednesday night thanks, in part, to a big faceoff win by captain Sidney Crosby. Crosby won 17 of 24 faceoffs in the game, an astounding 71 percent.

After the game, Sharks center Logan Couture said there's more to Crosby's success in the faceoff circle. He accused Crosby of cheating.

The comment has sparked the hashtag #sidneycrosbycheats, which has been trending in the Pittsburgh area.

Now a day after Couture accused Crosby of cheating, told Yahoo! Sports that even he cheats during faceoffs.

The Penguins are up 2-0 against the Sharks. Game 3 will be played on Saturday.
