Danielle Nottingham stepped into her role as weekend anchor for Channel 11 News during the winter of 2008. She can be seen reporting live from all over Pittsburgh weekdays on Channel 11 Morning News and on weekend mornings as she anchors alongside Meteorologist Kevin Benson.

Born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Danielle earned her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and completed her Master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the National Association of Black Journalists.

Since graduating Danielle has followed her journalism career across the country, from as far away as Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Greenville, Mississippi, all the way to Charleston, South Carolina, where she has been an anchor and reporter at all three stations. At WCIV in Charleston she received an Associated Press award for Educational Reporting. Now she resides in Pittsburgh, excited to be closer to home and to take on new challenges.
