Newlin Archinal is co-anchor for Channel 11 Morning News with Bob Bruce, and a reporter for Channel 11 News.

Newlin joined Channel 11 in March of 1999. Raised in the Philadelphia area, Newlin graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's of Arts in communications. She started her career in news radio at WILM-AM in Wilmington, Delaware. Her TV career started in Maine, and she then worked at WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Before coming to Pittsburgh, Newlin was a weekday anchor/ reporter at WTVR-TV in Richmond, Virginia.

Newlin has covered the death of Princess Diana, the historic tobacco settlement, Hurricane Felix, and the attack on America on September 11, 2001 attacks.

Newlin was voted one of "Richmond's Best Reporters" by the readers of Richmond Magazine, and was the 1996 recipient of the "Farm Bureau Award." She is proud to have been nominated for three Emmy Awards for her reporting and anchoring. Newlin is a former competitive figure skater, and is on the board of the Western Pennsylvania Arthritis Foundation.

Newlin and her family are "happy to call Pittsburgh home."
