Stacia Erdos is the anchor for the weekend editions of Channel 11 News at 6 and 11 PM. She is also a reporter for Channel 11 News, and the anchor for the weekend editions of The Ten O'Clock News on PCNC.

Stacia arrived at Channel 11 in December of 1998 as a reporter, and then worked as the anchor for Channel 11 News Saturday Morning and Channel 11 News Sunday Morning. Originally from Chardon, Ohio, she graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism. Stacia completed an internship with ABC News in London, England, and started her career as an anchor at WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, Ohio. She also worked as a reporter for WTVO in Rockford, Illinois, and as a main anchor at WYTV in Youngstown, Ohio. Stacia is married with two children.

Stacia has received an Edward R. Morrow Award, three Emmy nominations, and ten Associated Press Awards, including "Best Reporter" in Ohio. Currently she is involved with Goodwill and Easter Seals charities.

The most memorable stories of her career include covering the crash of Flight 427, and local coverage of the attacks on America on September, 11, 2001. Stacia was proud to become an anchor / reporter in Pittsburgh, where she'd always wanted her career to take her.

Stacia says, "I feel along with working as a journalist comes a big responsibility; each story can affect hundreds of families, or touch just one life." She adds, "I try to take the job I do very seriously, without taking myself too seriously!"
