John Fedko is Channel 11 Sports director and anchor. John reports for Channel 11 News at 6 and 11 PM, and hosts The Fedko Fone Zone, a local sports call-in show on PCNC.

John joined Channel 11 in October of 1987. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, and was raised near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. John earned a Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Southern California. His career as sports anchor has taken him to Odessa, Amarillo, and Corpus Christi, Texas, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. John is married with 5 children, and is actively involved with numerous Catholic charities.

His most memorable sports stories include covering the Pittsburgh Penguins as they won two Stanley Cups. He has been voted Pittsburgh's favorite sportscaster by Pittsburgh Magazine and numerous other publications.

John is proud of the success of Skylights, a weekly segment covering high school football in the fall. He says, "I consider myself one the luckiest people alive to be able to do what I do for a living!"
