Trisha Pittman

Traffic Anchor For Channel 11 Morning News

"People constantly call me when they’re driving around and think they’re lost. I always tell them, 'You’re not lost…you’re just learning a new road!'"—Trisha Pittman

Trisha Pittman is the traffic anchor for Channel 11 Morning News from 5 to 7 a.m.

Trisha arrived at Channel 11 in October 2002. A native from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, Trisha graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, with a concentration in broadcast journalism. Trisha’s first job was with WAEB & WZZO Radio in Allentown, Pa. She then worked in television and radio at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. Trisha and her husband have a wonderful son, two dogs and a cat.

Trisha has received two AIR Awards for “Best Traffic Reporter”. She feels very lucky to live and work in Western Pennsylvania. “I met my husband here, adopted my pets here, found a great job here, and my son was born here. I also found a city that takes your breath away when you come through the Fort Pitt Tunnels,” Trisha says. “Plus, I get to raise my child here and teach him what it means to be from a place that people always come back to. It just doesn’t get any better than that.”
