Traffic.Com Jam Cast On PCNC

The Pittsburgh Cable News Channel and Traffic.com, Inc. announce the launch of new broadcast technology that gives a birds-eye view of up-to-the-minute traffic patterns weekday mornings in a one-hour program.

Traffic.com Jam Cast™ premiered at 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, on PCNC. The program guides commuters through the morning rush hour with automatic, real-time updates of changing roadway traffic volume and driving conditions.

Viewers will receive a constant stream of traffic-related information including Drive Times on the Parkways.

Right Now details on traffic congestion, accidents or road work will give viewers up-to-the minute updates on how the flow of traffic is affected.

Highlighted maps with special graphics will depict the average speed of vehicles and provide the time it will take to get from Fox Chapel to downtown Pittsburgh on Route 28.

Color coded animation of individual vehicles instantly shows drivers the pace of traffic on designated highways and, of course, live traffic camera coverage will be provided by PennDOT.

With so many time saving facts in rotating order, Traffic.com Jam Cast on PCNC will soon become a morning favorite for cable subscribers throughout Western Pennsylvania.
