Weekend Roadwork Will Restrict Parkways, Route 28

Parkway East

Through mid-May the inbound lanes will be restricted from the Pennsylvania Turnpike to the Penn Hills Interchange. Two lanes will remain open at all times. Lane closures will occur on the outbound Parkway East in the area of the South 10th Street Bridge on Saturday and Sunday mornings between 6 a.m. and noon.

Parkway North

Lane closures will occur on the Parkway North between Bellevue West View and I-79. Inbound will be single-lane from 7 p.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Sunday. Outbound will be restricted from midnight on Friday to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Parkway West

There will be a complete outbound lane closure this weekend in Robinson and Collier townships. Work will occur between the Interstate 79 and Settlers Cabin interchanges beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday and lasting until 10 a.m. Sunday morning. Construction is being wrapped up early this weekend because of the Mother's Day holiday. Traffic will be detoured along I-79 and Steubenville Pike.

Route 28

Traffic on southbound Route 28 will be reduced to a single lane from the Etna Interchange to the Millvale Interchange from 7 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday. Northbound Route 28 will not be affected by this work.
