PITTSBURGH -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation held an informational meeting Wednesday to educate drivers on the upcoming Fort Pitt project detours. The meeting comes just over a week before the last phase of the project begins.
On Saturday, March 22 the outbound bridge and tunnel will close.
The following Saturday, March 29, the inbound bridge and tunnel will close.
They both will be used for outbound traffic for the remainder of the project.
