PITTSBURGH -- Weekend high temperatures are expected to be above normal this weekend, which means crews will be working to finish up several ongoing construction projects.

The Parkway East will be down to a single lane inbound between the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Churchill from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday.

Both directions of the Parkway North will be restricted 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday between Interstate 79 and the Bellevue/West View exit.

Two projects will take place on the Fort Duquesne Bridge. The outbound ramp to Route 65 will be closed 4 p.m. through midnight Sunday. The ramp from Fort Duquesne Boulevard to the bridge will be blocked off from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Drivers should pay attention to detours for the Monday morning and afternoon commutes.

Parkway West drivers will see cones and barrels in several areas throughout the weekend for sign work, bridge work and guide rail repairs.

Overnight work will close the Boulevard of the Allies inbound from Jumonville Street to Miltenberger Street between midnight and noon on Saturday.

Route 30/Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills will be restricted overnight Friday into Saturday.

Three different projects will tie up traffic along I-79. Northbound single lane closures in the area of the Turnpike will be between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday and near Wexford Saturday morning.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday the Neville Island Bridge will be down to a single lane in each direction.

All westbound lanes of Route 910 will be closed between Route 28 and Locust Hill Road Friday night through Monday morning.
