Cook Forest State Park
Cook Forest's stand of old growth white pine and hemlock timber, called the Forest Cathedral, is a National Natural Landmark. This is one of the largest stands of old growth timber in the Commonwealth. One of the best ways to see and enjoy the priceless beauty of Cook Forest is to hike the 30-mile trail network.

<b>Park Features:</b> Open year-round, 27 miles of trails, Family camping, organized group tenting and log cabins are available. Fishing, picnicking, swimming and canoeing are popular summer pursuits. Winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding and ice-skating.
