All Aboard the Gaultier Fashion Train
Swapping clothes rails for railway lines. Iconic French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier inspects the train he helped design, at the Gare du Nord station in Paris. No surprise, that just like him, the train carries his trademark parallel stripes. Its destination is Rotterdam, where a major exhibition of his works is being held. Gaultier says the trip by rail reflects his own journey from modest beginnings to fashion superstardom.
