Bomb Explodes in Lebanese Capital

A bomb planted under a car explodes in a southern suburb of Beirut late Monday. The bomb exploded in a Shi'ite Muslim area that is a stronghold of the militant group Hezbollah. There were no casualities. The bomb destroyed a car and damaged buildings. Many fear that sensitivities around the war in neighbouring Syria could lead to further instability in Lebanon.
