IKEA Meatballs With Horsemeat Sold Across EU

Swedish furniture giant IKEA. The chain is halting sales of its trademark meatballs in 13 European countries after Czech inspectors found a batch contained horsemeat. A company official says the meatballs in question were on sale in countries including Britain, Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands. According to IKEA, the frozen meatballs made by a Swedish supplier should only contain beef and pork. The find has prompted the company to carry out further investigations.
