Viral video of diver slammed by waves
If you're aspiring to go skydiving, this video won't be the most encouraging thing to watch. In the video featured on "TODAY," you see the awesome power of the ocean as author John Hoover goes diving and barely makes it back to the surface. A huge wave created a vacuum and pulled him back toward the rocks. The YouTube summary on the video explains friends thought he was a goner, but he was not injured during the incident.
