New Hula Hooping World Record Set in Thailand
It's a hip shaking celebration. More than 4 thousand contestants in Thailand set a new Guinness World Record for the most people hula hooping in one place. Contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes twisted for 7 minutes simultaneously until they smashed the previous record set in Taiwan in 2011. The event was part of a campaign organized by Thailand's Department of Health, which aims to promote fitness and exercise throughout the country.
