Nine Die as Train, Bus Collide in China
A bus collided with a train in China's northern Heilongjiang Province on Monday (January 28) killing at least nine people and injuring 38, state media reported. Chinese state television CCTV said that the collision occurred at around 7:30 a.m. local time (23:30 GMT). Chinese state news agency Xinhua said the passenger bus was overloaded, beyond its capacity of 35 passengers, and added that an investigation is ongoing.
