NY Senate Passes Toughest Gun Laws In Nation
Four days after Governor Cuomo’s State of the State address called for tougher gun laws, his wish is one step closer to becoming a reality.
New York State is aiming to be the strictest state in the country regarding gun laws and that fate lies in the hand of the Assembly.
Late Monday night, the Republican led Senate voted in favor of stricter gun laws which would ban assault weapons entirely, require stiffer background checks to buy a gun and ban magazines from holding more than seven bullets.
