Police Re-Examine Firing of Officer Wanted For Murder
Police scour southern California for a former officer wanted for three murders. More than 100 police as well as dogs, helicopters and armoured personnel carriers are searching for Christopher Dorner after his burning pickup truck was found near Big Bear Lake, a popular ski resort, Thursday. A Los Angeles police spokesman said the police chief is re-examining Dorner's 2008 dismissal for allegedly falsely accusing another officer of excessive force.
