Syria Says Israel 'Attacked Military Centre'
Syrian state television says Israeli warplanes attacked a military research centre in Damascus province. This statement from Syria's military command was aired on Wednesday (January 30), claiming the attack took place at dawn in Jamraya. It said two people were killed and five others were wounded. The statement denied conflicting reports that the Israeli planes attacked a Syrian convoy.
