U.S. Will Increase Assistance to Syrian Opposition

As fighting continues in Syria, the U.S. may be considering a shift in its policy to help end the crisis. The White House announced Wednesday it's reviewing the scope of U.S. aid to Syrian rebels, saying additional support could potentially include "non-lethal assistance." The White House wouldn't give details, but media reports suggest that could mean sending body armor and armed vehicles to the opposition, and possibly providing military training.
