Stanley Cup Stops At South Hills Homes; We've Got The Pictures

Posted: 4:47 pm EDT July 16, 2009Updated: 5:57 pm EDT July 16, 2009

The Stanley Cup has been making its rounds to homes in the Pittsburgh area.

It made an appearance at Marty, Barb and Misti Keyser’s home in Whitehall last Thursday, July 9.

A week later, Misti contacted See & Be Seen's Carly Noel about the pictures and said it was such a fun time.

The Keyser family is friends with assistant equipment manager Danny Kroll.

Kroll asked the Keysers if he could bring the cup to their home the day he was the keeper. They, of course, said yes.

Hundreds of people lined up outside of the Keyser's home, hoping to get a glimpse of the trophy the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins won.

“More than 500 people showed up through word of mouth. It was crazy,” said Misti Keyser, daughter of Marty and Barb Keyser.

The Keysers and their friends and neighbors drank from the cup and posed for pictures.

Saturday, the cup made an appearance at Penguins Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations Ed Johnston's daughter's home. Johnston's family and friends stopped by the Upper St. Clair home to take pictures with the cup. Friends of See & Be Seen's Jessica Woiner and Carly Noel -- Ann-Marie and Kristi Korzen and Val Messer -- are pictured in the photos.
