KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Don't walk or drive through floodwaters. The road could be damaged or blocked by debris. As little as 6 inches of moving water can knock you down; one foot of moving water can float a car. Turn around, don't drown.
KNOW WHAT TO DO
If your home or business floods, water may have damaged electrical power and natural gas or propane. Minimize fire hazards by turning off these utilities, if you can do so from a dry location. Otherwise, call police the or fire department for help.
Try to limit your time in floodwaters to avoid health risks and remove flooded items from your property as soon as possible to avoid mold.
