Moisture left in the wake of strong to severe storms will set the stage for fog to form before sunrise Wednesday.

Use low beams in dense fog and allow extra stopping distance between you and the car in front of you.

Cooler, less humid air will move in through the day with a mix of clouds and sunshine.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Monongalia and Greene counties.

UPDATE 3:25 p.m.:

Another Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Westmoreland County until 4:00 p.m.

Also due to Tuesday's storms, Kennywood will be closing at 4 p.m. and the year's final Fall Fantasy Parade has been cancelled.

UPDATE 2:38 p.m.:

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Indiana County until 3:15 p.m. The warning for Jefferson County was extended until 3:15 p.m.

UPDATE 2:07 p.m.:

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for eastern Allegheny County and part of Westmoreland County until 2:45 p.m.

UPDATE 1:55 p.m.:

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Clarion, Forest and Jefferson counties until 2:15 p.m.

UPDATE 1:36 p.m.:

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Armstrong, Butler and Clarion counties until 2:15 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Allegheny and Washington counties until 2 p.m.

This warning was extended until 2:15 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Beaver and Lawrence counties until 1:45 p.m.

UPDATE: 12:43 p.m.:

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued for our entire viewing area until 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Meteorologist Scott Harbaugh and Chief Meteorologist Stephen Cropper will track the storms as they move through. Stay with Channel 11 News for the any changes to the forecast.

Strong storms will roll across the Western Pa. for the evening commute.

A cold front pushing across the Ohio Valley will trigger a couple of rounds of showers and storms capable of producing very heavy rain and gusty winds.

TRENDING NOW:

The first line of thunderstorms will approach the area between 2 and 4 p.m.  Showers and thunderstorms will continue on and off through midnight tonight.

Some of the stronger storms will create 40-plus mph winds that could topple small trees and power lines. Large hail also will be possible in a couple of the storms.

Storms will quiet down before midnight with much cooler, fall-like air working its way into the area Wednesday and sticking around for the rest of the week.
