PITTSBURGH — The heat and humidity will persist for the next few days.
Most of the area will be dry today and Monday with only an isolated thunderstorm. However, any storm that may pop up can include strong downpours and gusty wind.
High temperatures will average nearly 15 degrees above normal for the first half of the week.
Temperatures will be near 80 through Wednesday, then cooler air will arrive with a cold front on Thursday, along with showers and storms.
Expect highs in the 50's by Friday that will last into the weekend.
