Showers, severe storms possible Friday

PITTSBURGH — Severe storms will be possible Friday. Wind gusts near 60 mph could cause damage, and heavy rain could lead to localized flooding. There's also a threat of hail.

Frequent lightning will come with any storm that develops. The unsettled weather pattern sticks around through Saturday.

Saturday, Severe Weather Team 11 will be tracking periods of rain and thunder.

Sunday looks mostly quiet with a chance of isolated showers, mainly across the southern part of the state. Sunday looks like the pick day of the weekend.
