PITTSBURGH — Keep the umbrella and rain gear handy the next several days, as a slow-moving storm brings waves of wet weather. While it won't be a washout, rain will disrupt travel and outdoor plans.

Scattered showers on Wednesday will taper off by mid-morning, leaving the area with mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers for the afternoon. Steadier rain will be possible overnight Wednesday into early Thursday morning.
