Steady rain could cause delays for Friday morning commute

A warm front is expected to swing through the area Thursday night into Friday morning, bringing waves of moisture. Rain will be in place for the morning commute and some of it can be steady at times.

It's important to drive with caution on the wet roads. Channel 11 Morning News will bring you updates to the forecast and let you know of any delays during the commute.

The good news is that this system will exit quickly, bringing an end to the widespread rain. Anything left over Friday afternoon will be a few scattered showers.

Clouds will stick around late Friday into Saturday. It is possible there can be some decrease in cloud cover late Saturday, but it appears to be minimal.

Even though there will be rain at times Friday, temperatures will still push back above average. The end of the work week will see highs in the mid 50s.

Despite the cloud cover Saturday, highs will be near 60, which is about 20 to 25 degrees above average.
