Weekend to start sunny, turn wet by Saturday evening

Outdoor plans this weekend? Saturday is your day.

We'll start the weekend dry with summer-like temperatures. Highs will jump into the mid 80s, just a few degrees from the record high of 88 degrees, set in 1900.

TRENDING NOW:

Wet weather moves in late Saturday as a cool front moves across the area. This front will keep rain and a few storms around through mid-morning Sunday.

By Sunday evening, the remnants of Tropical Storm Nate will bring a steady, soaking rain to the area, continuing through Monday. Some areas could see more than 2 inches of rain through Monday evening.
