One word to describe the Monroeville Convention Center June 2— Mom-mania.

 Lifetime’s "Dance Moms" and their talented daughters made an appearance for fans of all ages across the area. Hundreds of viewers from across the nation and even Canada had the opportunity to meet the cast.

The moms and daughters were so friendly to each fan. They gave every person a chance to talk with them, sign their merchandise and take numerous pictures.

As I took a look around the room into the massive crowd, I noticed hundreds of smiling faces. Young girls, teenagers, college kids, moms and dads, and even a few boys were pumped to shake hands with Pittsburgh’s reality TV stars.

Off to the side, a table filled with trophies, pictures and tiaras gave "Dance Moms" fans a chance to see what the little dancers have achieved during their somewhat short lifetimes. Next to the tables were the beautiful dance costumes each girl wore during the show. Though some may view the two piece selections or the shorter hemline dresses too revealing, I found them to be gorgeous for a dance performance.

After the crowd fizzled away, See and Be Seen’s Rob Johnston and I had our chance to meet the girls and the moms. As an avid "Dance Moms" fan, I was like a kid on Christmas morning.

The cast was everything I expected and more.

Holly was very poised and polite. Melissa was friendly and inviting. Christi made me laugh by teaching me her term ‘prosti-tot’ when referring to the dance costumes. Kelly was excited to be there with the entire family. Jill’s bubbly and young personality shined throughout the visit.

The dancers were so full of energy. Personally, if I had to smile and meet hundreds of adoring fans, I’d be exhausted after an hour. Not these girls. They were running around, playing games and even taught Rob how to dance. Though they were energetic, they were probably the cutest, most well behaved group of young girls I’ve ever met.

After meeting the cast, I am definitely becoming a "Dance Moms" fanatic. Make sure to check out the show on Lifetime Tuesdays at 9!
