Denny Sell: About me

My name is Denny Sell, and I am 23 years old.  I went to Avonworth High School. It was a very small school.  I graduated with 97 kids.  I really enjoyed attending a small school; all of the students knew each other well.

During high school, I played sports, which included baseball, basketball, hockey, volleyball, soccer and football. As you can see, I played several sports. I am athletic and always like to stay and shape.

During high school, I took a videography class and that class really made me realize my talent at young age.  I could do things with a video camera that people were still learning. From that moment on, I realized that I wanted to make videos and take pictures and be known in the entertainment industry.  After that class, I really was excited to head to college and major in film and multimedia.

I currently go to Robert Morris University and am a senior. I will be graduating in the fall of 2012. I am very excited to graduate and go into the real world.

I enrolled at Robert Morris University because of its TV/Film program.   At RMU, I host a show called AMC Showcase, and I am the talent for other shows when the school needs it. I've also hosted my own radio show and have learned a lot about radio production.  All of these activities really grabbed my attention, and from the first moments on, I knew the school was the right choice for me. The professors are really nice, and the college life is a great experience.

I also create music videos for upcoming artists who are looking to gain exposure. I really enjoy making videos and have come a long way since I first started using a camera.

I believe that this multimedia internship with WPXI will really prepare me for the real world and help me network throughout the entertainment community.  I am looking forward to a great experience with some really interesting and fun people.
