Lockdown lifted at 2 Pittsburgh schools after reports of shots fired at nearby park

PITTSBURGH — UPDATE: A spokesperson for Pittsburgh Public Schools said lockdowns at both schools have been lifted.

Carrick High School and Pittsburgh Concord K-5 are on lockdown after a report of shots fired at a nearby park, a spokesperson for Pittsburgh Public Schools confirmed to Channel 11.

The call to 911 for reports of shots fired at Phillips Park came in around 11:38 a.n.

Officers are currently on the scene and investigating. It’s unclear if anyone is hurt.
