ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. — A tree fell onto a main power line in Ellwood City before catching fire.
The power line provides service to the municipality.

A member of the Penn Power crew on the scene told Channel 11 the tree and the fire caused some damage to the transmission.
A Penn Power representative also told Channel 11 that the company has rerouted the power and there was no disruption of service to any customers.

Crews are continuing to work on repairing the damage to the transmission line.
