Monaca residents under boil advisory after water system issues

MONACA, Pa. — People living in Monaca Borough are under a Boil Water Advisory.

Borough officials said there was a failure of the disinfection process in the water system.

As a result, people are advised to not drink the water without boiling it first.

People should use bottled water or boiled tap water because there could be germs in the water that could make someone sick. Bring water to a rolling boil for one full minute and allow to cool before using.
