World Refugee Day, which is sponsored in part by Highmark Wholecare, will be held on June 20 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Schenley Plaza.
2022 marks the return of Pittsburgh’s in-person World Refugee Day and Immigrant Heritage Month celebration.
The festivities celebrate local refugee- and immigrant-owned restaurants, and feature performances and speakers from around the world.
Organizers said that the celebration is an opportunity to celebrate Pittsburgh’s diverse culture and history.
