Virtual online concert raising money to support free cancer screenings

WEXFORD, Pa. — A virtual online fundraising concert is raising money to support free cancer screenings and support services.

Cindystock 17 will be held on Saturday, June 20th starting at 4 p.m. on the event’s website and Facebook page. You can connect with your computer, your phone, or tablet device.

The list of performers include Kyshona, Erik Parian, Piper and Carson, Miguel Sague, Dan Navarro and Jay Nash of the Contenders. The Currys will perform a kickoff concert on Tuesday, June 16th .

All money raised will be used to support five agencies that provide either free cancer screening or support services:

• Allegheny Health Network community screenings
• UPMC colon cancer screening
• Adagio Health breast and cervical screenings
• Support services from Cancer Caring Center
• Hair Peace Charities

The annual event is usually held in the Wexford backyard of Cindystock founders Cindy and Ted Yates but due to COVID-19, this year’s event is virtual.

Donations are being accepted online and all donors are eligible to win prizes.
