"Hot Girl Summer" for sure.
Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has successfully trademarked her phrase, "Hot Girl Summer," days before the official start of fall.
Complex reported that the phrase, which was the theme of the 2019 season for many, has been approved for trademark along with "Hot Girl Semester" and "Hot Nerd (expletive)."
Meg confirmed the trademark in a radio interview, according to The Neighborhood Talk, a celebrity gossip page on Instagram.
"Yep, it's already in the process," she said. "It's trademarked. We did it.”
Meg has previously said in multiple interviews that "Hot Girl Summer" and "Hot Girl" means being carefree and having confidence in whatever you may do.
"Being a Hot Girl is about being unapologetically YOU, having fun, being confident, living YOUR truth, being the life of the party etc," she tweeted in July.

"I really didn't even know that it was gonna catch on how it did. It was just me talking (expletive), telling everybody I was gonna be me for the summer, and they should be them too, like as free as they can be," she said. "When I saw Wendy's and Forever 21 saying, 'Hey, are you having a Hot Girl Summer?' I was like, 'Hell no, Forever 21, you're going to have to pay me.' But I just wanted to get it trademarked because it's me. It's my thing."
The phrase has been successful not only as a phrase, but as a song. Meg brought in Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign for a single by the same name. The song became her first Billboard Top 10 single when it debuted at No. 7 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in July.
