'America’s Got Talent’ : Simon Cowell previews most unique season yet & credits Pittsburgh for early success

‘America’s Got Talent’ is ready to return May 26 for Season 15, with arguably their biggest season yet as fresh faces and familiar favorites join forces for excitement, thrills and performances that will awe viewers.

Creator and executive producer Simon Cowell sat down with Pittsburgh’s Nicole Jelinek to give an inside look at a season that is keeping even the judges on their toes.

Plus, the entertainment icon shared a personal memory of Pittsburgh that stuck he links to his early career and success in America.

Don’t miss the epic premiere Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Channel 11.

Cowell is back at the star-studded judges table with fan favorite Howie Mandel, international superstar Sofia Vergara, fashion icon Heidi Klum and, of course, the dynamic host Terry Crews.

This season had already taken a unique turn when audition filming was cut short and moved to virtual auditions.

Cowell says the show normally has a solid 15 days of in-person auditions and that it had completed roughly 11 before moving to virtual ones to give more people a chance at taking the “America’s Got Talent Stage.”

Needless to say, this is a season that you won’t want to miss!
